Code of Conduct
TEEN CODE OF ETHICS & METRO COPA RULES
We are asking that the Teen Code of Ethics be discussed with the teens and their guests before arriving at the event. Please ensure that teens who are not members of Jack and Jill are familiar with the name of the member’s chapter and chaperone(s).
The Jack and Jill Teen Code of Ethics will be enforced and violations will result in disciplinary action, including possible removal from the event.
We also ask the following guidelines be followed:
Dress Code
Dress to impress! No Hoodies, No Jeans, No Hats.
Ladies: Semi-formal attire (please encourage appropriate length dresses and skirts).
Gentlemen: Collared shirts and ties (Jackets are optional).
Dance Code
The dance floor will be closely monitored by chaperones. We want everyone to have fun and be safe. No twerking or overtly explicit dance moves will be allowed.
Drug, Alcohol & Contraband Policy
We will have zero tolerance for any and all drug or alcohol use. Please check your teens for contraband (including drugs, alcohol or weapons) before arriving at the party.
No outside water bottles or drink containers will be allowed.
No E-cigarettes or smoking materials or devices of any kind will be permitted.
No weapons of any kind will be permitted.
Teens showing obvious signs of intoxication will not be allowed to enter the event. Teens who appear intoxicated during the party will be removed and the chaperone will be called.
In the event of a medical emergency due to intoxication, medical personnel will be called including EMS if deemed necessary.
Please inform your teens and their guests that violators of ANY of the CODES above will be removed from the event and their chaperones will be called and will be responsible for the teen.
All Chapter Chaperones must remain on or near the premises for the entire duration of the dance and MUST be reachable on their cell phones. Cell phones must be kept on, in case of a medical emergency or if a teen needs to be removed from the dance. All Chaperones should check in at the Hospitality Desk upon arrival, to confirm their departure information.
